A Bi-Objective Model for Scheduling Construction Projects Using Critical Chain Method and Interval-Valued Fuzzy Sets

Numerous constraints affect construction projects, and lack of management may lead to schedule deviation. In the execution phase project, due timely access required resources existence uncertainty, project activities do not progress following schedule, as a result, deviation occurs. The scheduling addresses resource by critical chain method deals with delays in placing buffers that have emerged for projects. This paper presents new bi-objective mathematical model which aims reduce delay increase quality, based on constraint proposed model, been considered multi-mode ones. Moreover, this has assumed each activity be executed normal or crashing way. Due uncertainty real-world problems, duration is expressed using triangular interval-valued fuzzy numbers. A solution process presented two-step approach. First, equivalent crisp given; then second step, goal programming approach applied transforming into single-objective one. Finally, implemented case study adapted from literature, sensitivity analysis results conducted.
